Question
2001 Vermont state quarter is very bright and has no copper showing around the edge is this an error coin .

If your coin has an "S" mintmark (under the IN GOD WE TRUST motto), then it probably is a silver proof -- a special collector coin made by the Mint -- worth a couple dollars.

If it does not, then it has probably been plated with silver, platinum, or another bright metal -- this has no value to collectors.
