Question
I have a 2002p Sacagawea dollar, the one i have is like a silver or nickle color on the front and the back is the normal golden color, what is the cause of this,is it a error coin and what would you guess its worth?Thank You,Michael

Answer
Hi Michael,

The coin has to be inspected.  One side could be plated or painted.  It is possible that one side had the color wash wear off or was never applied.

I suggest you take the coin to a local dealer for inspection, it is the only way to get a true answer.
