Question
"I acquired a newer quarter that appears to be "different". I did a search for

aluminum quarter and found a old post of yours. Are these coins rare? What
do

you recommend me doing? I was considering taking it to a coin shop and
seeing

what they tell me.

Thanks"

Answer
Hi Monica,

I was probably referring to the aluminum penny that was an experimental piece.

I know of no aluminum quarters from 2007.  That would be a statehood quarter.
If you care to send it to me, I will inspect it, grade it, and offer my opinion of it's value; all free of charge.

If you decide to take me up on that, please email me at JoeHylas@aol.com so I can give you shipping instructions.
