Question
I have a coin, though I believe it is a reproduction...On one side it says "Silver Pillar Dollar" (piece of eight) peso...on other side is what looks to be two pillars with a crown in middle.  It has date of 1732...I tend to believe it is a token?  Am I correct?

Answer
Hello Nancy,

I cannot answer accurately for foreign coins they are not my field.

Most of them are common issues. Your library will have them listed in "The Standard Catalog of World Coins". I think your piece is a Fantasy-Coin or Souvenir piece.
I do remember that the Pillar Dollar has a coat of arms on one side and did not state the word "Pillar"  at all another type has the monarchs bust on the heads side.

Good Luck
