Coin and Paper Money Collecting/Rare 1950 100 dollar bill

Question
I have a 1950 100 dollar bill which appears to be slightly off centered with the bottom border being larger than the top border.  In addition to that there is a small black horizontal line in the border area at the bottom in the center of the bill.  Is this normal?  or is it a possible error bill?  It is in circulated condition.  Do you know what the value might be?

Answer
Jeff,

Sorry but no retirement money here.

Slightly off center is neat, but has little value -- especially in circulated condition.  It would have to be off-center to the point where the border was completely gone to have any significant value.

The black line is a mark used for positioning the cutters -- looks like they didn't do a very good job.

I would estimate value at $105 to $110 if you can find an interested buyer.

Expertise

My strong familiarity with all U.S. Mint coins, extensive reference library, and close relationships with many other dealers allows me to identify just about any coin made in the USA. I receive regular updates to all the current price guides -- both wholesale & retail -- to provide accurate values. So, with a good description or pictures, I should be able to identify and value any U.S. coin you have.
