Coin and Paper Money Collecting/Wheat penny Struck with state of Nevada

Question
I have a wheat penny that has been struck with the state of Nevada and "NV" inside the state.  Is this worth much?

Answer
Hello, Kirk, actually the piece wasn't struck with a map of Nevada on it and NV inside; instead those were stamped into the cent after striking.  Each state was featured in this novelty set, which sold for about 99 cents a piece.  It is a novelty that has little resale value today.  Try going to www.ebay.com and going a search for state stamped cent or state stamped penny and you may see a couple for sale (if not today, try back in a bit, some may come on later).  Hope this helped, Jim Lawniczak
