Coin and Paper Money Collecting/How to find out the value of coins

Question
Hi,
I have rolls of silver quarters and dimes and some $1 bills I would
like to sell. Is there a web site I could look up the value on?
Since i don't know much about the subject, I'd like to check the value
before going to the coin dealer to insure that I'm getting the fair
price.
Thanks,
Miriam

Answer
Hi Miriam,
Right now, with silver trading at $16.75 per ounce, your silver dimes are worth about $1.15 each and the quarters are worth $2.90

As for the $1 bills, if they are newer than 1935 and in used condition, there is very little value above the face value.

I hope this helps.
