Question
QUESTION: I have a quarter printed in 2000 that isn't a normal size. Its about as big as a nickel. How much do you think this coin could be worth

ANSWER: Hi Bob,

It is possible that your quarter was struck on a nickel planchet.  If that is the case, I have seen these trade for between $50 and $150

QUESTION: You see this isn't the same size as a nickel its a little bigger what does that mean.

ANSWER: Hi Bob,
If there is reeding on the edges and the correct thickness, I would still guess it was struck on a nickel planchet.  However, if the reeding is missing, maybe it was ground down purposely.

It is virtually impossible to give more details without a physical inspection.

QUESTION: where do you think i can take this to get a positive look at it

Answer
Hi Bob,
first off, I don't know where you are.  Take out your Yellow Pages and look for a coin dealer near you.

Get his opinion, but don't sell it to him just yet.  Tell him you have to think about it.  This was you get the info you need and can research the value further.
