Coin and Paper Money Collecting/Misprinted nickel

Question
I have a nickel that is printed on the back, but not on the front.  The back is
perfect, but the front was never struck.  Is this worth anything?
Thanking you in advance

Answer
Sharon, I have been told by experts in the minting process that it is impossible to strike up just one side of a coin.  So, either the front is very weakly struck (you should see an outline) or the front has been removed by chemical or rubbing.  Check to see if your nickel is thinner than a usual nickel.  The missing metal will be where the front was removed, Jim Lawniczak
