Question

picture of coin
I was wondering if you could help me identify this coin.  It is a silver coin that is dated 1986.  On one side of it is has the upper part of lady liberty with the words eternal vigilance is the price of liberty around the top of the coin and beside lady's arm says I lift my lamp beside the golden door.  On the back of it is and eagle  that say united state of america one troy oz. 999 fine silver.  I have attached pictures for you to see.  Can you tell me the name of the coin and where I might find the value of it?  Thank you so much

Answer
Hi Chris,

This is not a coin.  Items suchas these are referred to as silver rounds.  These trade for their silver value.  Your round is one ounce of pure silver (999/1,000 pure)and at today's market, makes it worth $17.32
