Question
I can't find any information about my 1937W Mercury dime. It's in VF condition at least. Your service is great.

Answer
Hello Robert,

The Winged Liberty Head dimes (Mercury head) were produced in large quantities most years. There are a couple are considered valuable.

For these 1916 to 1945 dimes locate the mint mark (If it has one) it will be on the reverse, near the bottom left of the faces, And to the right of the "E" in the word ONE.
The letters on the front to the right of the neck are the designer’s initials a letter A overlaid on the letter W for Adolph A. Weinman.

The 1916-D is most valuable, 1921-D and 1921 no mint mark are also valuable dates. Any of these two dates any grade condition will be worth much more than the silver value they have.

Other than these, any coin dated 1931 or older, having complete rims can sell retail from $1 to a few dollars each.
The main image on the heads side is lady Liberty. The wings on the cap are symbolizing freedom of thought.
On the reverse is a faces symbolizing the strength that a united force can have.

Feel free to let me know when you have any questions on USA Coins.

Good Luck

PapaJack
P.S. Only the 1996 Roosevelt dime from West Point has a W for the mint mark.
