Question I've a 3/4 cent Queen Victoria Coin. Round in shape, The colour in brone, 1 side is the queen victoria face and the other side is 3/4 cent with border of the word Striats Settlement with the bottom year 1801. I want to know how much does this coin worth now ? What is the real value of this 3/4 cent cost in the world.
Answer Hi Edward,
I believe that this is a modern made fantasy piece - I have received questions about this piece previously, and there are two major problems:
1. Queen Victoria did not ascend to the British throne until 1837
2. Straits Settlements never issued a 3/4 cent coin (1/4 and 1/2 cent coins were issued)
As a fantasy piece, any value is limited as it is not genuine, nor does it replicate a genuine coin. $5 would probably be the upper limit of its value, and then only as a novelty item.
