Coin and Paper Money Collecting/Indian head penny

Question
Hi, Joe. I just wanted to know how much will an 1901 Indian head penny, in very fine condition be worth in another 10 to 20 years? Also it does not have mint markings. Thank you

Answer
Hello Eloise,

There are no mint markings because all of them were made in Philadelphia.
Since the coin is circulated, and there are tons of them readily available, maybe in 20 years your coin will triple in value.  Because mint quality coins are inexpensive and available, collectors tend to acquire the higher grade coins.
A very fine specimen is worth about $4 right now
