Question
I have a NH state quarter, year 2000, without a mint mark.  (Denver and Philadelphia are the mints for the state quarters?)  Value?

I have heard of this missing letter many times.  It is caused by a foreign substance (like machine grease) that gets into the stamping die and prevents the complete striking of the coin.

Collector interest is very low -- value at a dollar or less.
