Question
I have a 2005 Kansas quarter. It has a perfect indentation on the edge that goes into the face about 1/16th of an inch. Best way to describe it is Less Than A Full Moon. What can you tell me about this coin?

After thinking about your description more, it sounds like you have a clipped planchet error.  I've seen these sell for $50 to $150, depending on amount of clip, condition of coin, and whether it is in a certified holder.
