Question
are these offereings very unlikely to eventually be worth investing in.  my wife bought 4 rolls from the company (World Monetary Fund) and fortunately I was able to cancel soon after.  Seems kind of deceptice to me, 0 % gold and not likely to appreciate much? what do you think? www.ballisticrolls.com

Answer
Philip,

There are hundreds of millions of each Presidential coin minted -- like the state quarters -- they are very unlikely to be worth any significant amount ever -- everybody is saving them in uncirculated condition -- there will be plenty of them available forever.

www.ballisticrolls.com === WHAT A JOKE!  They are selling ordinary coins in fancy packaging at RIDICULOUS prices.  There is no way anybody buying coins from them will EVER get their investment back.  You could go to ANY coin show and get the same coins -- without the garbage packaging -- for LESS THAN HALF THE PRICE!  Wow, how do these guys sleep at night?

I think it was wise to cancel your subscription.  If you really want to collect them, just go to your local bank every couple of months and get a roll there -- at face value, you cannot lose.

Expertise

My strong familiarity with all U.S. Mint coins, extensive reference library, and close relationships with many other dealers allows me to identify just about any coin made in the USA. I receive regular updates to all the current price guides -- both wholesale & retail -- to provide accurate values. So, with a good description or pictures, I should be able to identify and value any U.S. coin you have.

Experience

I've been a coin dealer since the 1980's and a coin collector since the 1960's. I specialize in U.S. Silver Coins and have an active online website -- The Working Man's Rare Coins -- http://www.workingmancoins.com -- offering information and inventory in U.S. coins.
