Question
between pcgs, ngc, icg, and anacs, who is the most liberal grader, and the toughest.  I have morgans and walkers that I wish to have graded. Icg is close to where I live and I can avoid shippng charges. I don't know much about them though, so if you could let me know what you think of them it would be greatly appreciated.  thank you for your time.  Matt

Answer
Hi Matt,

This, of course, is my opinion based upon coins I have seen and the prices each grading company commands in the market place.
In order of most stringent grading, here is my list.
PCGS
NGC
ICG and ANACS are about equal.
From what I have seen, most PCGS coins will cross over to the other service at or above the grade PCGS assigned.  This is not the case with ICG or ANACS from my experience.  NGC crosses to PCGS sometimes, but most of my clients prefer PCGS.
