Coin and Paper Money Collecting/No date lincoln penny

Question
Hi, How are you sir? My question is that I have a Lincoln penny that has absolutely no date but it has the memorial in the back. Can you tell me how much it is worth? The date has not worn off at all. It is very shiny and has no scratches at all.

Answer
Hello Shawn,

You say there is not date, what about the other features such as Lincoln's bust?
If the coin simply has only 1 side minted, the coin was altered after it left the mint.  When a coin is minted the top die and bottom die strike the coin simultaneously, hence having a one sided coin is technically impossible.
