I have three kennedy half dollars, 2 from 1971 and one from 2000, the mint marks are FG, what does FG stand for?

Bob,

The FG is not actually a mintmark, but rather the coin designer's initials -- Frank Gasparro -- and is on all Kennedy Halves.

The mintmark would be located on the front, at the base of the neck, and would be a "D" (Denver), an "S" (San Francisco), a "P" (Philadelphia), or no mintmark (which means the same as if it had a "P").
