Question
I inherited a great deal of silver coins.  But, I also have some one ounce pure silver anniversary bars. The date on these say 1949  & 1974.  They were made for First National Bank of Evergreen Park's 25th Anniversary.  I also have a few silver dollars from 1886, 1887, 1889, 1896. In addition to that I have one dolloar coins ranging from the year 1923-1976. I have so much more and don't know who to ask or trust.  Could you please help me?

Thank you,

Jennifer

Answer
What kind of help do you need? Value? The silver bars are worth about $16.00 per fine ounce, the silver coins are ten times face, that is a dime is worth a dollar, and so on. The silver dollars are worth on average $12.00 each. The dollars after 1935 generally have no value over face. If you want to sell them, ship them to me at Neil Berman, POB 11, Cross River, NY 10518, 914 763-0678 or you can look me up on the web at neilsberman.com.
