Coin and Paper Money Collecting/Adams $1 die rotation

Question
I've found a 2007P Adams dollar with a 160-170 degree die rotation...and have had the coin slabbed.  Graded MS64.  I'd just like an opinion as to whether you think this coin has the potential for appreciable value increase in the coming years?  I'm not really an avid coin collector, but I'm always on the look-out for good future investments.
Thanks

Answer
Larry,

As you probably know, die rotations on modern coins is extremely rare, so it will have a significant value now.

As for the future, it will depend partly on the popularity of the Presidential Dollar series, and more-so on how popular collecting error coins becomes.

You could sell it now and buy a key date coin with a good track record, but in my opinion, you have a much neater item with good potential, that personally I would hang on to.

Expertise

My strong familiarity with all U.S. Mint coins, extensive reference library, and close relationships with many other dealers allows me to identify just about any coin made in the USA. I receive regular updates to all the current price guides -- both wholesale & retail -- to provide accurate values. So, with a good description or pictures, I should be able to identify and value any U.S. coin you have.

Experience

I've been a coin dealer since the 1980's and a coin collector since the 1960's. I specialize in U.S. Silver Coins and have an active online website -- The Working Man's Rare Coins -- http://www.workingmancoins.com -- offering information and inventory in U.S. coins.
