Question
Hi Papa-Jack!
I have been going in circles trying to find this coin that I have. Here is a description, hope you have some info!!

1 oz silver coin
1776-1976
FRONT: 2 drumming soldiers, one flute player with stars all around the face.
REVERSE: 2 flags crossed over eachother with the words "US Second Centennial" in the middle.  At the bottom of the coin it reads "Constitutional"

Thanks!!

Answer
Hello Diane,

More information is needed to authenticate your coin;
Does your silver piece say 999 fine anywhere on it?
Does your piece have a country of origin or spell out "UNITED STATES of AMERICA"?
Does the piece say it has a denomination on it? (One Dollar, Half Dollar etc.)
What size is your piece?

There is no regular issue U.S. Coin with the design you describe. There have been other medals issued with similar designs. And they were made in copper silver Pewter and there were some made in gold.

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Thanks PapaJack
