| Comment | Thanks Dan,Im not really interested in getting rid of any of my coins in my collection, but knowing the up to date values on them is always a good thing. I plan on giving them to my kids someday when I think they're old enough to appreciate them. My collection has grown rapidly over the years, and its hard to keep track of what I've got. I forgot to mention a 1883 liberty nickel that I've got in perfect condition, but I'd say its value is close to the 1911 one. Maybe one day these coins will be worth a fortune, but Im happy with just havin them around for now. I just found an old mason jar full of silver dollars and old quarters in a barn that was recently torn down,so I'll probably be contacting you again for your opinion on the values of those also. Once again, thanks for your time & info. | ||

My strong familiarity with all U.S. Mint coins, extensive reference library, and close relationships with many other dealers allows me to identify just about any coin made in the USA. I receive regular updates to all the current price guides -- both wholesale & retail -- to provide accurate values. So, with a good description or pictures, I should be able to identify and value any U.S. coin you have.
I've been a coin dealer since the 1980's and a coin collector since the 1960's. I specialize in U.S. Silver Coins and have an active online website -- The Working Man's Rare Coins -- http://www.workingmancoins.com -- offering information and inventory in U.S. coins.
