Coin and Paper Money Collecting/State Quarter mint defect

Question
I have a Georgia State quarter that has the copper core coming through a face.  It appears new and normal in all respects except for the copper showing.  It is not worn at all.  Is this defect add any more value to the coin?

Answer
Hi Bruce, if the whole side was missing, I would say yes, but simply that the nickel layer in tin in one spot really does not add value to it.  However, check eBay, there may be a buyer for exactly waht you have.
Good Luck
