Question I have a newer penny that is only 1/2 stamped, no date is visible but you can read liberty on the front and see about 1/4 of Lincoln's head and neck. United States is visible on the back. The penny is oblong shaped because of the missed stamp. How much would this be worth?
Thanks
Jimmy
Answer Hi Jimmy:
It's depends in part on the percent off center, the clock position that it's struck off at (12:00 is the rarest), and the condition of the piece. This type of error, without the date, usually sells to an interested collector in the $5 to $10 range.
