Question Do you know the market price of two one dollar coins I have?
They are a 1922 and a1923 thanks.
Answer Hello Dan,
The value of any coin depends on its state of preservation. It is assigned a grade between 1 and 70.
Most circulated coins fall between grade-4 (good) and grade-50 (Almost Uncirculated).
They are both PEACE type silver dollars and probably the most common dates made. They were produced at three different mint facilities and sell for between $10.00 and $19.00 in circulated grades.
If the coins were never circulated (grading between 64 and 69) they are considerably more valuable. Perhaps as much as $70 dollars, depending on factors like any mishandling they might show and quality of the strike.
I hope this information helps. Feel free to ask me another question at this site.
