Question
I have an 1863 indian head penny (13 stars on the front) and on the back the words Army & Navy wiyth a wreath onthe sides/bottom of the coin.  what is it worth?

Answer
Hi Lynne,
This is not a penny.  It is a "Hard Times Token".  When small change was limited in the 1800's, commercial ventures made their own tokens to be used for commerce.
They normally trade in the $8-$15 range for the one you have unless it is very high quality.  In that case, it would be more.
