Expert: Brad Swain - 11/9/2009

Question
one troy ounce gold coin is graded Mint State 68, (MS-68) by the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation, the Official Grading Service of the American Numismatic Association

Whats the current value for this coin and how much can I sell them for

Answer
Hi Chantal, There were 23,000 of these Chinese 100 Yuan 1 ounce gold coins minted that year and it may be worth about 10% over its gold value depending on amount of collector demand.
Gold and silver values: http://www.kitco.com/market/ .
You might try Ebay.com for similar pieces for comparison.
Brad
