Question
Hello.  Could you tell me the approximate, or specific, value, both historically, and in terms of monitary value,  of a Dutch Gold Coin, 10 gilders, year 1875, in mint condition, Willhelm the 3 on one side, and In God something or other, with two small stars on it as well.  Thanks.

Answer
Hi Marion, there were 4.11 million of these Dutch 10 Gulden coins minted that year featuring King William III (1849-90). It should weigh 6.729 grams and would contain .1947 of an ounce of gold. It may be worth up to about $250 depending on amount of wear and collector demand.
You might try Ebay.com for similar coins for comparison.
You might also try a library for a copy of the Standard Catalog of World Coins for more info, pics and values.
