Question
Hi Brad I have a GEORGIUS 1111 D.C. COIN bust of himself on one side and George and the dragon on the other its dated 1823 any info would be appreciated  Thanks

Answer
Hi Jo, this seems to be a British gold Sovereign (1 Pound) or 2 Pounds coin featuring King George IV (1820-30). A Pound coin should weigh 7.988 grams and would contain .2354 of an ounce of gold while the larger 2 Pounds would be twice that. Fakes exist so weighing it is important. If genuine, a 1 Pound may currently be worth about $300 with heavy wear to $1200 with medium wear to maybe $3500 with light wear. There were 617,000 minted that year. The 2 Pounds may be worth about $550, $700, $1200 in the same conditions.

You might try Ebay.com for similar items for comparison.
You might also try a library for a copy of the Standard Catalog of World Coins for lots more info, pics and values.
