Question
QUESTION: I BOUGHT A GOLD COIN I WANT TO KNOW WHAT ITS WORTH 1773 GEORGE III GUINEA ITS IN VERY FINE CONDITION THANK YOU

ANSWER: Hi Paul, a genuine 1773 1 Guinea featuring King George III (1760-1820) should weigh 8.35 grams and would contain .2461 of an ounce of gold. It may be worth about $300+ in VF condition depending on amount of collector demand. The home market (Britain) will give higher prices for the coin.
