Question
my question is i got a gold dollar coin out of a change machine it the newer one i believe its the newer one but i don't see a date stamp anywhere or a mint mark anywhere on it is this an error on behalf of the mint or is that the way the coin is made if it error because it is circulated does it still have any value as error coin or is it worth only face value i can take a front and back picture if you need it

Answer
Hello,
If it is a newer one, it would be a presidential dollar, not a Sacagawea Dollar.  On presidential dollars, the date and mintmark are on the edge.
However, the first ones, George Washington, did have errors with not lettering on the edge.
