Hi, could you please tell me what country this coin is from? Possibly denomination and/or year? Thanks.

Hi Kat, this is an undated copper 1 cash coin minted 1928-49 from the southwest Indian state of Travancore. It may be worth .10 to .50 depending on amount of wear and collector demand.
You might also try a library for a copy of the Standard Catalog of World Coins for pictures, values and lots more interesting info.
