QUESTION: Please let me know the value of three coins:  Winston Churchill 1965 Commemorative coin, excellent condition; Turks and Caicos Twenty Crowns, uncirculated; and 24K gold-plated 1972 Eisenhower Dollar.

These items are being donated to the local Sierra Club for auction.

ANSWER: Hi Andrew, the copper-nickel British 1 Crown coin featuring Churchill may be worth .50-$2.
The T&C 20 Crowns value depends on the date. With more info I'll be glad to help further.
The Ike dollar was plated by a company after it left the mint and some collectors would call the alteration damage. It may be worth what gold value the plating has over the dollar the coin is automatically worth. You might try a pawn shop or jeweler for an opinion. It depends on how thick the plating is and may require a cut to make a judgment.

QUESTION: Brad,

My followup question:  The T&C 20 crowns (uncirculated) is dated 1976 and is mounted in a brown paper folder with certificate of authenticity.  It appears to have a high silver content.  Please let me know estimated retail value.  Thanks for your help and references!

Hi Andrew, There were 2 versions of the 1976 20 Crowns issued, one for the U.S. Bicentennial and the other celebrating the reign of Queen Victoria (1837-1901). There were 5,000 of the first minted and 25,000 of the other. Both contain 1.1509 of an ounce of silver and are worth about $20-$25 each in original uncirculated condition.
