Question
What is the value they r paying for these quarters/misprinted? I heard they were worth 6,000 apiece? Could that b possible ? If so I have a few! I would like 2 cash these in so I can pay my bills up?!

Answer
Mary,

At one time you could get that much for high grade certified examples of this coin, however that time has passed.  Nowadays they sell for about $80 to $300 apiece, depending on how nice they are.

If you go to www.ebay.com and do a completed auction search in the coins category, searching for wisconsin leaf, you can see recent examples and how much they sold for.  You can also list yours for sale there too.

I hope this helps,

Dan

Expertise

My strong familiarity with all U.S. Mint coins, extensive reference library, and close relationships with many other dealers allows me to identify just about any coin made in the USA. I receive regular updates to all the current price guides -- both wholesale & retail -- to provide accurate values. So, with a good description or pictures, I should be able to identify and value any U.S. coin you have.

Experience

I've been a coin dealer since the 1980's and a coin collector since the 1960's. I specialize in U.S. Silver Coins and have an active online website -- The Working Man's Rare Coins -- http://www.workingmancoins.com -- offering information and inventory in U.S. coins.
