Question
I have 2 silver coins with this inscription "Royaume Du Laos both dated 1952 with a hole in the center.  On the reverse side there is a leafy  engraving and the hole is in the centre.  Also on left side it say 60 and below that 20.  On right hand side across from the 60 is reads 90 and below that it says cents.  Could you please tell something about this coin.
Thank you

Answer
Hi Donna, There were 3 million of these aluminum Laotian 20 cents coins minted in 1952. Collector value may be worth about .20 with heavy wear to around .35 with moderate wear to maybe .75 with light wear to perhaps $2 if uncirculated.
You might also try a library for a copy of the Standard Catalog of World Coins for pictures, values and lots more interesting info.
