Question
how much is a elli bin 50000 turk lirasi 1970 worth in english pounds

Answer
Hi Tasha, Collector value of a note depends on date, series letter or signature and condition, including amount of wear, any folds, tears or stains as well as collector demand.
The note reference the 1970 law authorizing these notes. The actual issue date was 1989 for serial numbers starting with letters before K and 1995 for K and after. The early notes may be worth .10 to about 5 Pounds depending on amount of wear and collector demand and the later notes may be worth about .10 to 2 Pounds. If it starts with H01 through H03 it may be worth 30-$450 Pounds.
You might also try a library for a copy of the Standard Catalog of World Paper Money for pictures, values and lots more interesting info.
