QUESTION: Having trouble valuing this coin I have acquired.
One side: ladies head Wilhelmina Koningin Der Nederlanden.
other side:Coat of arms. 1929 2 1/2 on one side G on the other
Round the edgeMunt Van Het Koningrijk Der Nederlanden.
Good condition.

ANSWER: Hi Kar, There were 4.4 million of these Dutch 2-1/2 Gulden coins minted that year featuring Queen Wilhelmina (1890-1948). This coin should weigh 25.0 grams and would contain .5787 of an ounce of silver. Collector value may currently be worth about $10 with heavy wear to around $12 with moderate wear to maybe $25 with light wear.

QUESTION: Thankyou so much..
I also have a 1923 US liberty silver dollar.
There seems to be a lot of different categories of when they were minted. How do I place this coin into a category to find it's value?

Answer
Hi Kar, U.S. silver dollars weigh 26.73 grams and contain .7736 of an ounce of silver. The Peace dollar (1921-35), may have a mintmark letter by the tip of the tail.
There were 30.8 million minted in Philadelphia without a mintmark, 6.8 million in Denver (D) and 19 million minted in San Francisco (S). I'm not sure what you mean by 'categories' or 'when' they were minted.
Collector value may be worth about $14 with heavy wear to around $17 with moderate wear to maybe $20 with light wear.
Collector value of a coin depends on date, mint mark (if any), number minted and condition of a coin, including amount of wear, any dents, scratches or cleaning as well as collector demand for it.
You might also try a library for a copy of the Guidebook of United States Coins for pictures, values and lots more interesting info.
