i have a 1996 VN CVARTO DE BALBOA coin, i was wondering about how much it would go for ? it is pretty good condition also. i saw it on ebay for 399.00 ? i was just wondering if that was the going price ? thank you

Hi Denise, There were 7.2 million of these copper-nickel clad copper Panama 25 centesimos (1/4 Balboa) minted that year at the Royal Canadian Mint. It may be worth up to about $1 depending on amount of wear and collector demand.
One found on Ebay for that high price likely never sold. Only sale prices count for judging value.
You might also try a library for a copy of the Standard Catalog of World Coins for pictures, values and lots more interesting info.
