Coin and Paper Money Collecting/East India Company

Question
Brad,
I saw another question on this coin but wanted to clarify a couple of things with you. I have a East India Company coin with me from 1868. At least, I think its East India Company. I can only read 'Company' and barely makeup 'Ea'. In the center, it says 'ANNA' but I cannot make out what is above this word except that it ends with 'R. On the other side however, I can see two lions against a cross with two flags at the top. (There is something else in between these flags but I cannot make out what it is).

Can you please tell me what coin this is?

Answer
Hi Net, it is probably an EIC 1858 one quarter anna. With heavy wear it is worth $1 or less.
You might also try a library for a copy of the Standard Catalog of World Coins for pictures, values and lots more interesting info.
