Question
side 1 - sideview of face encircled withPAUL VON HINDENBURG     s1847-1934
side 2 - eagle encircled with 5 marc 36   deutftches Reich 19 reichs.
Can you give me any information on this coin. Value, history etc. Thanks

Answer
Hi Mimi, the Paul von Hindenburg 5 Mark coins were minted 1935-36 without a swastika under the eagle and 1936-39 with the swastika. A mintmark letter is located behind his collar which may affect its value. It also contains .4016 of an ounce of silver.
With more info I'll be glad to help further.
You might try Ebay.com for similar pieces for comparison.
You might also try a library for a copy of the Standard Catalog of World Coins for pictures, values and lots more interesting info.
