Question

sze chuen
I have a SZE CHUEN 10 CASH and I can't find any info on it. What I found online was type of coin but I couldn't match the symbols on the back. Any info would be greatly apprecaited if only a place to go to find out what the coin is. Thank you in advance.

Answer
Hi John, If you have pictures (not over 1 megabyte each please) of the other side you can email them to me at tbirde@psknet.com.

After seeing the pictures, this Szechuan copper 10 cash coin looks to be a variety of Y-229 in the Standard Catalog of World Coins, most likely in my opinion, 229.2. If so it may be worth about $4 with that amount of wear.

You might also try a library for a copy of the Standard Catalog of World Coins for pictures, values and lots more interesting info.
