Question
I have been looking through some coins that I have lying around and I found a 1995 Irish 5 pence coin, I cannot find a value for it on any site. They seem to list 1994 and 1996 coins, any guidance ?

Answer
Hi Robert, There were 14.7 million of these small copper-nickel 5 pence coins minted that year of a design used 1992-2000. Collector value may be worth about .10 with wear to around .50 if uncirculated (no wear).

You might also try a library for a copy of the Standard Catalog of World Coins for pictures, values and lots more interesting info.
