Question
I have just found a 2005 West Virginia statehood quarter with a S mint.  To my knowledge they were only minted in P and D.  Who can I contact to find an estimate for its value?  Thanks for your help.

Answer
Hello Ted,
The "S" mintmark denotes PROOF coins.  There were copper nickel clad and 90% silver varieties, both carrying the "S" mintmark.
The silver value alone is about $3 on the silver one, the clad one must be gem condition to be worth any premium.  Even as a gem, it is worth about $1.50
