Coin and Paper Money Collecting/Polish Currency

Question
I found the following in my house and I know that a man who owned a currency exchange once owned this house. It says 10 Dziesiec Zlotych and there is a picture of Mieszko I. Serial No. GC 4691860. Is this old or nothing of value?

Answer
Hi Marianne, it sounds like a Polish 10 Zlotych note dated March 25, 1994 but issued in 1995. It may be worth about $3.50 up to about $6.50 if uncirculated (no wear).
You might also try a library for a copy of the Standard Catalog of World Paper Money for pictures, values and lots more interesting info.
