Coin and Paper Money Collecting/Republic of Texas Currency

Question
I have some Republic of Texas currency.  I want to know how I can tell if it is authentic.  I researched the pictures & they appear to match for each "bill".  The lower denominations have Endicott & Clark in the right hand side, whle the larger ones have Rawdon, Wright Hatch & Edson printed along the bottom.  They appear to be hand numbered, dated, and signed.  The smaller bills note Austin, Texas.  Other noteworthy things include, "Twelve months after date" & "receivable for all government dues" & "promissory pay to the bearer".  All of the currency has the "red back" markings, but appear more orange than red.  Please advise me as to how to go about determining whether I have the real thing.

Answer
Hi Peggy, Currency Reproductions are common and have virtually no collector value. You can find a list of the ones that have been made here (bottom of page):

You might try Ebay.com for similar pieces for comparison.
If they aren't on that list let me know and I may be able to find possible values for them.
