Question
i found an american dime dated 1976.is it worth anything?
Hi Denise, There were over half a billion 1976 10c coins minted at each of the two mints, Philadelphia and Denver so unless it is like new with no wear at all it is only worth .10 depending on amount of collector demand.
You might also try a library for a copy of the Guidebook of United States Coins for pictures, values and lots more interesting info.
