Question
I read one of the questions a gentleman sent you about a foreign coin.  It is a bundesrepublik deutchland coin. I also have a coin like this, it was made in 1950 and has a large ten on the back taking up most the space, and pfennic right below the 10.  there are two (one on each side) what seem to be maybe wheat stems at the the top and an F between the 2.  I'm not sure what is on the front.  there are 5 large leaves that seem to be forming a tree together.  There's not really anyother markings on this coin. can you tell me anything about it?

Answer
Hi Kristie, There were 584.3 million of these brass clad steel West German 10 pfennig coins minted that year in Stuttgart (F) featuring an oak sprig. Collector value may be worth about .10 with heavy wear to around .20 with moderate wear to maybe .50 with light wear.
You might also try a library for a copy of the Standard Catalog of World Coins for pictures, values and lots more interesting info.
