(back)deutsches reich 1907 funf mark. (rim or edge)gott mit un??.
any info would be greatly appreciated.

Answer
Hi Joe,
This is a 5 marks coins from the German State of Prussia. Value depends largely on condition, but a range would be from $20 for one with significant wear up to as high as $250 for one in mint condition with luster. If you would like to post a follow-up question and attach a picture of your coin, I can give you more specific information on the value.
For reference, it is .900 purity silver and should weigh just over 27 grams, much the same as a US silver dollar.
Thanks for the question! =)

Expertise

My specialty is world coins from the 18th to 20th centuries, primarily non-US foreign coins and related areas such as errors and exonumia (tokens, medals, etc.). I can answer questions relating to identification, grading, selling, preservation and evaluation of such items. In addition to catalog value, I can give you the practical market value and trends for specific types of coins. I will also take questions regarding counterfeits (both modern and antique) and on how to identify them. I am NOT knowledgeable in paper money/banknotes, ancient or "shipwreck" coins. Thank you.

Experience

Collector of world coins since early childhood. Access to a variety of auction records and reference material. You can also find me on Facebook.
