Please give me any information you might have on a coin imprinted PORTUGUEZA 1789 AFRICA, MARIA.I.D.GREGINA PORT.ET.D.GUINEAE. The coin also has a hole in it where a nail may well have been driven through. Thank you!
Hi John, what size is the coin? Is it silver or copper? What words are in the center of it?

You might also try a library for a copy of the Standard Catalog of World Coins for pictures, values and lots more interesting info. It is actually listed under Angola, a Portuguese colony until 1975.
